Willow Sculptures – Duck, Hen or Goose Workshop
Join Lorraine for a full-day or two-day Willow Sculpture workshop and release your inner creativity whilst being inspired by either the surrounding woodlands, lakes, and gardens of Birtley Woodland Art Space
We offer a selection of workshops for you to choose from, including the opportunity to learn how to weave a Willow Pig, Sheep, Hen, Chicken, Pheasant, Goose, Duck, Fox, Owl, Tortoise, Fawn, Doe, Buck, Rabbit, Hare, Bumble Bee, Mushrooms, and more, or create your own design in our ‘Your Choice workshops’.
Our Adult Deer workshop is held over two days.
YOUR CHOICE’ SCULPTURE WORKSHOP
In this one-day workshop, the choice of what you make is up to you! We will provide you with sufficient Willow that we believe you will need to create a sculpture in a day. You will be able to buy additional Willow if required. Lorraine will be on hand to provide you with guidance and help by showing you weaving techniques to help you create your sculpture of choice. What’s included

- Free to walk around the woodlands and non-private grounds on the estate.
- Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. (depending on sculpture)
