Heritage Willow Weaving: Build Your Own Garden Obelisk & Plant Supports
Join Lorriane for a half-day or full-day, outdoor craft workshop and make a selection of plant supports including a Willow Obelisk and/or a garden Willow or Hazel Trellis you can be proud of!
The Workshop
The full-day workshop will provide you with sufficient time to make a mini-Obelisk as well as a large Obelisk plus either a large decorative Trellis, Cylindrical Plant Support or Cloche! You will have the opportunity to use various styles of weaving and lengths of rods to create the plant supports, we will demonstrate these styles on the day and are happy for you to be creative with your own designs!

Based out of Hedges and Hurdles base at Birtley, the Birtley Woodland Art Space is a tranquil woodland sheltered location on The Birtley Estate, with its ancient woodlands, lake and beautiful gardens and nestled within the stunning scenery of the Surrey Hills National Landscape.
