Spring Wild Garlic & Greens Forage with wild food tasters

Saturday 28 March
13.30 – 16.00
Bramley, near Guildford
Heard people talk about wild garlic but not confident you know what it is? Want to know what other wild greens you’re missing out on?
2.5 hour walk (in and around the beautiful Birtley Estate) including delicious tasters made using wild ingredients, primarily wild garlic which will be in full flush.
The focus of this walk is to get to know wild garlic and the poisonous plants to avoid growing near and among it. However, this is a diverse site with woodland, wetlands around a lake, meadow & hedgerow in small area so we will also find many other edible spring greens.

“ We had the most wonderful walk with lovely Elspeth yesterday. It was just what we wanted. Elspeth was so welcoming, so passionate about what she does and such a happy person! Highly recommend!! We had no idea that such edibles lie on our doorstep!”
