Craft using the elegant flexibility of Willow, you will leave with the skills—and the physical hurdle—to transform your own outdoor space.

The Willow Hurdle (Two-Day Course)

For those who prefer working with more pliable materials or wish to extend their weaving season.

  • The Technique: Using pre-prepared willow (soaked for maximum flexibility), you will master the same structural weaves used in hazel hurdles.
  • The Result: A completed hurdle (6ft length, 4ft–5ft height) with a refined, woven finish.
  • Bonus Skill: This course is ideal for those interested in Continuous Willow Fencing—the techniques are easily adaptable for building fences directly into the ground at home.
